Monica was born in the longest country in the world (CHILE) and came to live on

the biggest island in the world. (AUSTRALIA)  
She has been a teacher, a saleswoman, a mailsorter and a family bookkeeper.
Monica now spends her time writing children’s stories and looks after her fabulous street library, FRIENDS-FUR-EVER with the help of Texas, the greatest dog on Earth.


Monica started writing poems at age eight, plays at 12, short stories at 16 and novels at 41. Monica wrote "The empty dish", "Blotch the dog", "Blotch the dog all paws to Chile", "Searching for Bobo" and recently "The Tricky Phone", all five are kids
